Howl x Basil Giveaway Official Rules

1. NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF MONEY IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS GIVEAWAY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

2. The prize listed below, including the Vehicle, is awarded “AS IS” at 2575 Progress St, Vista, California 92081 (the “Pickup Location”). The winner shall be solely responsible for all costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and reclamation, including but not limited to travel to and from the Pickup Location, all federal, state, and local taxes, as well as any and all costs associated with Vehicle registration, titling, licensing, insurance, emissions testing, transportation, and any other costs associated with accepting, retrieving, transporting, registering, or using the prize. Sponsor shall not receive any portion of these payments.

The Sponsors, as defined below, reserve the right to require the winner to provide proof of valid insurance covering the Vehicle before releasing the Vehicle. Acceptance of the Vehicle constitutes winner’s agreement to pay all such government-mandated fees directly to the appropriate authorities.

3. These rules (these “Official Rules”) govern the Basil X HOWL Campfires Giveaway (the “Giveaway”). HOWL Campfires, LLC (the “Administrator”) may amend these Official Rules at any time without notice. These Official Rules are subject to the Administrator’s terms of use, located at https://www.howlcampfires.com/policies/terms-of-service (the “Terms”), and the Administrator’s privacy policy, located at https://www.howlcampfires.com/policies/privacy-policy (the “Privacy Policy”).

There is no fee to enter this Giveaway, and no purchase is necessary. Making a purchase will not enhance your chances of winning. The winner must coordinate with the Sponsors and arrange to pick up the Vehicle in accordance with these Official Rules and at the winner’s sole expense. By entering the Giveaway, you affirm your eligibility to participate and your agreement to be bound by these Official Rules.

4. The sponsor of this Giveaway is the Administrator and Basil’s Garage LLC, a California limited liability company, GFC (Go Fast Campers), CJC, Baja Designs, Toyo Tires, Nomad Wheels, IceCo, Redarc, DECKED, Hest, JetBoil, Montana Knife Company (MKC), and such other brands as may be added (collectively and together with the Administrator, the “Sponsors”).

The Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with any third party other than the Sponsors.

All trademarks, service marks, and copyrights referenced in connection with this Giveaway are the property of their respective owners. They are used solely for promotional purposes and do not imply endorsement, partnership, or association. The Sponsors do not profit directly from the use of any referenced trademarks or copyrighted materials.

1. Entry Period and Methods of Entry

Beginning on May 21, 2026 at 5:00 PM MST (the “Start Date”) through July 16, 2026 at 11:59 PM MST (the “End Date”), entrants may enter the Giveaway by any of the following methods.

There is a maximum limit of ten thousand (10,000) entries per person during the Entry Period, regardless of method of entry. Once an entrant reaches ten thousand (10,000) total entries, no additional entries will be counted. This entry cap applies to all entry methods combined, including free entries, purchase-related entries, SMS entries, referral entries, and mail-in entries.

Free Online Entry — 1 Entry

Visit www.howlcampfires.com and follow the on-screen entry instructions by providing a valid email address. No purchase is necessary. Each eligible entrant may receive one (1) entry through the free online email entry method.

Free SMS Entry — 5 Entries

After submitting an email address through the Giveaway entry form, entrants may follow the on-screen instructions to provide a valid phone number and receive five (5) entries. No purchase is necessary.

Purchase Entry — Limited-Edition T-Shirt and Sticker Bundle — 100 Entries

Purchase the limited-edition Basil X HOWL Giveaway T-shirt and sticker bundle through howlcampfires.com for $50 during the Entry Period to receive one hundred (100) entries, subject to the overall limit of ten thousand (10,000) entries per person.

Purchase Entry — Sitewide Purchases — 1 Entry Per $1 Spent

For every one dollar ($1) spent sitewide at howlcampfires.com during the Entry Period, the entrant will receive one (1) entry, subject to the overall limit of ten thousand (10,000) entries per person. Purchase entries are calculated at checkout and are not retroactive to purchases made prior to the Start Date.

Referral Entry — 20 Entries

Entrants may share a unique referral link, where available. For each eligible person who enters the Giveaway using the entrant’s unique referral link, the referring entrant will receive twenty (20) entries, subject to the overall limit of ten thousand (10,000) entries per person.

Free Mail-In Entry — Up to 10,000 Entries

To enter without making a purchase and to receive the same maximum number of entries available through purchase-related methods, an entrant may submit up to ten thousand (10,000) free mail-in entries.

To enter by mail, hand-write a love note to Loki the Wolfdog, HOWL Campfires’ company mascot, on a 3” x 5” card. Each card must also include the entrant’s full name, email address, mailing address, and phone number. Each eligible 3” x 5” card received will count as one (1) entry, up to the maximum limit of ten thousand (10,000) total entries per person.

Mail-in entries must be postmarked by July 13, 2026 and received by July 16, 2026. Mail-in entries must be legible, complete, and hand-written. Mechanically reproduced, photocopied, automated, stamped, or otherwise duplicated mail-in entries are void.

The content of the love note to Loki will not be judged and will not affect an entrant’s chances of winning. The requirement that each mail-in entry include a hand-written love note to Loki is intended only to confirm that each mail-in entry is individually prepared by the entrant and is not mechanically reproduced, automated, or duplicated.

All entries, whether obtained through a free method of entry or associated with a purchase, are included in the same random drawing and have an equal chance of winning on a per-entry basis. A purchase is not required to enter or win and will not increase an entrant’s chances of winning because entrants may obtain the same maximum number of entries through the free mail-in method of entry.

Use of any robotic, automatic, programmed, or similar entry method, or entering more than the number of times permitted, will void all entries and may result in disqualification. Entrants may not use multiple email addresses, identities, mailing addresses, accounts, devices, or other means to circumvent these Official Rules or the ten thousand (10,000) entry limit.

Entries generated by script, macro, robotic, automated, or other mechanical or programmed means, or by any means that subvert the entry process, are void and will result in disqualification.

2. Eligibility

The Giveaway is open to legal residents of the United States and the District of Columbia, excluding residents of Florida, New York, Ohio, Louisiana, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Michigan, Virginia, West Virginia, Vermont, South Carolina, and Rhode Island. Participants must be eighteen (18) years of age or older as of the Start Date.

Employees of the Sponsors, or their respective immediate family members, and anyone else who is directly associated with the organization or judging of the Giveaway (together, the “Promotion Parties”) are not eligible to participate in the Giveaway. All entrants are subject to verification of eligibility by the Administrator.

The Administrator reserves the right to disqualify any entry or entrant, including but not limited to entries deemed, in the Administrator’s sole discretion, to be fraudulent, incomplete, inaccurate, illegible, duplicated, mechanically reproduced, automated, inaccurate, submitted in bad faith, or otherwise in violation of these Official Rules. Participation in the Giveaway is void where prohibited by law. Entrants are responsible for ensuring their participation complies with all laws and regulations in their jurisdiction of residence.

3. Prize

The Administrator will award one (1) prize, consisting of the following items listed below, including the Vehicle, as applicable, collectively referred to as the “Grand Prize.”

Grand Prize: Basil’s Baja Surf Rig

The Grand Prize includes the following items:

Total retail value of the Grand Prize: $47,262 USD.

The Grand Prize consists of only those items specifically listed as part of the Grand Prize. The total prize value is the Sponsors’ good faith determination, and is final and binding and cannot be appealed. If the actual value of the Grand Prize is lower than the stated MSRP when the Grand Prize is procured and fulfilled, the difference will not be awarded.

All federal, state, and local taxes associated with the Grand Prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. Limit one (1) Grand Prize per person, family, or household. No substitution or transfer of the Grand Prize is permitted by the winner. In the event the Grand Prize is unavailable for any reason, the Sponsors reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

If a potential winner is disqualified for any reason, the Administrator will award the Grand Prize to an alternate winner by random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries. Only three (3) alternate drawings will be held, after which the Grand Prize will remain un-awarded. All elements of the Grand Prize must be used in the manner specified by the Sponsors and are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and not redeemable for cash or credit.

4. Vehicle Prize Conditions

The Vehicle is awarded “AS IS.” The Sponsors make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Vehicle, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. The Vehicle may not meet safety or emissions testing required in some states, counties, or municipalities.

The winner is responsible for checking their state, county, and municipal requirements for applicable emissions, inspection, registration, licensing, and insurance requirements prior to accepting the Grand Prize and must use the Vehicle in accordance with those regulations.

The winner is solely responsible for all costs associated with the Vehicle after transfer of ownership, including but not limited to title, registration, licensing, insurance, sales or use tax, emissions testing, transportation or shipping of the Vehicle to the winner’s location, and any maintenance, repairs, or modifications. The Vehicle will be transferred to the winner with a clean title.

The winner must have a valid driver’s license that permits operation of the Vehicle in the winner’s state of residence and evidence of legally required insurance prior to taking possession of the Vehicle. The Sponsors reserve the right to require evidence of insurance before permitting the winner to take control of the Vehicle.

5. Winner Responsible for Pickup

No delivery of the Vehicle will be made by the Sponsors. The winner is solely responsible for arranging pickup of the Vehicle, including but not limited to scheduling, transportation, handling, and any and all associated costs, fees, or third-party services required to claim and transport the Vehicle.

6. Winner Selection and Notification

A random drawing will be conducted on or about July 17, 2026 by the Administrator to select the winner from all eligible entries received. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received, subject to the maximum limit of ten thousand (10,000) entries per person.

The potential winner will be notified by email and must sign and return the required Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release, and, where permitted by law, Publicity Release within fourteen (14) days of the date notice is sent, or such other date set by the Administrator. The selected entrant will be deemed a potential winner pending verification of eligibility.

The Administrator will notify the winner when and where the Grand Prize can be collected after the Administrator receives all required documents executed by the winner. The winner must coordinate with the Administrator to schedule a time to pick up the Grand Prize. Failure to respond within the applicable time period will result in forfeiture of the Grand Prize, and the Administrator shall have the option to award the Grand Prize to an alternate winner.

The return of any Grand Prize notification or Grand Prize as undeliverable may result in disqualification, and an alternate winner may be selected.

All income taxes, transportation costs, and other costs resulting from acceptance and retrieval of the Grand Prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. Winner may be required to submit a completed IRS Form W-9 and will receive an IRS Form 1099-MISC for the retail value of the Grand Prize.

By entering this Giveaway, you accept and agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Administrator, which shall be final in all matters.

Acceptance of the Grand Prize also constitutes permission to the Promotion Parties to use the winner’s name and likeness for marketing purposes without further compensation or right of approval, unless prohibited by law. All federal and state laws apply.

7. Release and Limitation of Liability

By entering this Giveaway, entrants waive all right to, and hold the Promotion Parties harmless from, any claim, liability, loss, damage, including punitive, incidental, and consequential damages, or expense, including attorneys’ fees, arising out of or in connection with participation in this Giveaway or the acceptance, use, or misuse of the Grand Prize, including but not limited to any claims arising from the use or operation of the Vehicle.

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

The Promotion Parties will not be responsible for: late, lost, delayed, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, damaged, postage-due, stolen, mutilated, or incorrect entries; an entrant’s failure to receive prize notices due to entrant’s spam, junk e-mail, or other security settings; entrants’ provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information; technical, hardware, or software malfunctions; lost or unavailable network connections; failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled, or delayed electronic communications whether caused by the sender or by any equipment or programming associated with or used in this Giveaway; any human error which may occur in the processing of entries in this Giveaway; or any typographical, technological, or other error in the publishing of the offer, administration of this Giveaway, or announcement of the Grand Prize.

If, in the Administrator’s opinion, there is such an error, or there is any suspected evidence of tampering with any portion of this Giveaway, or if technical difficulties, including viruses and bugs, compromise the integrity of this Giveaway, the Administrator reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or modify this Giveaway in a manner deemed appropriate by the Administrator.

In the event of termination, the winner will be selected from among all eligible entries received as of the date of termination. In the event a dispute arises as to the identity of a potentially winning entrant, entries will be declared made by the name on the online entry form, subject to verification by the Administrator.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

All matters arising out of or relating to this Giveaway and these Official Rules are governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, without giving effect to any of its conflict of laws provisions. You further agree that any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of or relating to this Giveaway and these Official Rules shall be brought exclusively in the applicable federal or state courts located in Denver, Colorado.

9. Privacy

Information submitted with an entry is subject to the Privacy Policy. The Promotion Parties prioritize the privacy and security of all contestants. The Promotion Parties will never ask for personal information, such as passwords, financial details, or sensitive data, through any unofficial Giveaway channels.

The Promotion Parties strongly advise all contestants to exercise caution and refrain from sharing any personal or sensitive information with any unofficial or suspicious accounts claiming to be affiliated with this Giveaway. The Promotion Parties shall not be held responsible for any consequences that may arise from sharing personal information with such accounts.

By entering the Giveaway, entrants consent to the collection of their email address and other submitted information by the Administrator and the Sponsors for purposes of administering the Giveaway and for future marketing communications. Entrants may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.
